Challenge:
The Grand Villa Casino needed a packaged indoor heat pump unit to serve a patio space. The engineer was trying to provide the right size of the backup heater to ensure the space still had heating during defrost mode. This needed to be done without having to install separate heating and power supply.
Solution:
Due to the cold Canadian winter temperatures, UCA was the perfect choice because of space constraints. The engineer’s requirement was met with an 8-ton C-13 Series air source heat pump with 20 kW electric heat. In fact, these variables are integral to the unit.
