Challenge:
A busy ten-story new Holiday Inn was experiencing customer complaints of a musty smell in the hallways/rooms. To begin with, they had limited areas for rooftop installation or split system installation and needed to upgrade to ASHRAE 62.1 Fresh Air Standards.
Solution:
United CoolAir was able to provide them with a vertical DOAS system to meet the standards required and provide fresh outside air into the building. This was done by providing a 6T, double-circuit unit with hot gas bypass, modulating hot gas reheat, and microprocessor control. Ultimately, our unit has provided a quiet yet quality solution.
